Sale-a-bration Blog Hop!!!

Hi Everyone!!

I am so excited because this is the first ever Blog Hop that I’ve been involved in!!  The reason that I am a part of this event is because I am a member of a fantastic Yahoo Group called ESAD-SU which stands for ‘Extremely Special Australian (& NZ) Demonstrators of Stampin’ Up!  This group is an amazing support network of other Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators where you can get inspired by regular challenges, see the amazing work of other demonstrators from across the country, and get lots of tips and advice about anything you need to know!!  I love that everyone in this group is so willing to offer help and show their work as continuing inspiration for us all!

There are also many opportunities to be part of events such as this Blog Hop, as well as card swaps and information about major up coming Stampin’ Up! Events like Convention.  It is an amazing resource as a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator because you feel like you are never on your own, there is always someone who can off support when you need it!  Thanks to everyone!!

If you are an Australian or New Zealand Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and would like to become part of this fabulous group, click here to join.

The Sale-a-bration Blog Hop

So…. you haven’t done a blog hop before and you’re wondering what this is all about?  The idea of this one is to showcase the fabulous stamp sets that are available exclusively to Stampin’ Up! customers for free with any qualifying order duing Sale-a-bration (25th January – 31st March 2010).  Click on the Sale-a-bration catalogue on the right to see all the sets.  All you have to do is to follow the links and check out all the blogs of those participating.  It should be pretty clear on each person’s blog how to get to the next one.  If you visit each persons blog and leave a comment there, you will be in the running to recieve some fantastic BLOG CANDY!!!!!  (Free goodies and supplies sent right to your doorstep!!).  Once you have been everywhere, just email Leonie Schroder (leaonie@stamp-a-latte.com) and the winner will be announced in the coming week – stay posted!!

Finally… Here is my Mini Tag Album

Well hopefully you have arrived here from Ros’s website.  If not, you will definitely want to turn around and check out her amazing work!  Basically the idea is that you do the full loop and visit all the sites in the blog hop by following the links on everyones site.

My sample to show you is a Mini Tag Album.  I am not sure if the pictures actually show you too well how is all folds together, but anyway, hopefully you get the idea of it!!!  I love scrapbooking and doing little 3D projects, so with this beautiful set of Whimsical Words, I thought this was just the thing!!  This stamp set works perfectly with loads of our punches as you can see!  I have also used heaps of brads, flowers, clips and ribbons to make this!  It was so much fun, and I hope you enjoy checking it out!

This is the front and also a top view.

This is inside the front cover.  You can see the photo tags pull out and I have written on the back of each other them throughout.  I found it really easy to use this stamp set to make little embellishments.  I am particularly happy with the way the hearts turned out (there is a closer photo further down).

This is the front flap opened up – my gorgeous children!!  I have used the Chocolate Chip Stampin’ Write Marker to separately stamp the words from one of the stamps and punch them out.  This gives you even more use for the one stamp!  I love these colours together too!  And the Bella Rose DSP I am addicted to at the moment!!!

This is the middle pages all unfolded out.  I used the linen thread to attach the middle to the cover (not sure if that makes sense!), and the eyelet border punch along the top of the pockets.

Once again on this page I have used the Stampin’ Write Marker to stamp just the words ‘Candles’ and ‘Wish’ to use separately.  I am so glad that we still have the Scallop Oval punch!!

More punches!!!  They just work so well with this stamp set!  I think Whimsical Words is such an amazingly versatile set.

I hope you liked taking a look!  So now that you’ve finally made it here… It’s time to hop over to Sharlene’s blog and check out her beautiful work !!!  Enjoy looking at everyone’s projects – I hope to see you back here again sometime soon xx
